4th essay
oke, di essay ke-4 ini gue ngomongin tentang ekspektasi gue tentang tempat gue berkuliah. nilainya 88 btw tapi itu karena banyak verb tense yang ngaco gitu katanya tp ini yang udah dibenerin sama gurunya sih jadi yaa trusted essaylaah~ semoga berkesan(?)
a higher level of education in university is everyone's dream and every new student has their own expectations of the university that they choose. whether it is about the new experience or about the lecturers. when i entered the university life, i had some expectations; that i could get more knowledge, have new friends and i also expected that my university life would be like in the movie. but not all of my expectations align with the reality.
i have some expectations when entered university life and i have found them in SGU. i can improve my english which i did not use when i was in high school and also i can learn german which is rare in other university. i also meet wonderful people here, not only my friends in class but also the lecturers, staff and senior which you cannot get in the universities. in SGU the students can take a photo with the lecturer and sometimes share jokes with them, which i did not expect but it happens.
i also expected that being the private university student will be easy and relaxed, not only about the schedule but also the quizzes. but i was wrong. SGU is not like that at all. i have a full schedule every day; i could spend 9 hours a day in campus, there is no time to hang out even if after school. and the quizzes always feel like a nightmare. besides that, i always expected that the clubs and the event that held by university students would be cooler than the high school's but in reality, SGU students are not too excited and active in these things.
in conclusion, we all have expectations in our lives. we can find our expectations in the university that we choose or maybe not. if we cannot found our expectation, acceptance is an amazing trait. when things do not work out the way we had expected, it is much more beneficial to realize that is how life works rather than becoming frustrated at the situation.
